2,000 terrorists killed this year: There is no room for negotiations with terrorists, they will have to surrender before the state.
Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif, has said that this year 40,348 operations were conducted across the country on the basis of intelligence, during which 2,084 terrorists were killed, while there is no room for negotiations with terrorists, they will have to surrender before the state.
While holding a news conference on the security situation and ongoing measures against terrorism, DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif said that a total of 40,348 operations were conducted across the country on the basis of intelligence this year. So far this year, 3,145 incidents of terrorism have occurred, while 2,084 terrorists have been killed in security forces operations. According to him, an average of 10 terrorists have been killed daily and an average of 194 intelligence-based operations have been conducted daily. A total of 819 people have been martyred in terrorist incidents, including 303 military personnel, 194 law enforcement officials and 322 civilians. 28 bomb blasts have also been reported so far during the year 2026. He said that for the first time in 2023, the number of martyrs was more than the number of terrorists killed, however, after that the security forces made their operations more effective and achieved significant successes in operations against terrorists. Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif made it clear that there was no scope for any kind of negotiations with terrorists. He said that terrorists will have to surrender before the state of Pakistan and be held accountable according to the law. Security forces will continue their operations until the complete elimination of terrorism and all possible measures will be taken for the peace and stability of the country.

پاک فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ (آئی ایس پی آر) کے ڈائریکٹر جنرل لیفٹیننٹ جنرل احمد شریف نے کہا ہے کہ رواں سال ملک بھر میں انٹیلی جنس کی بنیاد پر 40 ہزار 348 آپریشن کیے گئے، جن کے دوران 2 ہزار 84 دہشت گرد مارے گئے، جبکہ دہشت گردوں سے بات چیت کی کوئی گنجائش نہیں، انہیں ریاست کے سامنے سر جھکانا ہوگا۔
سیکیورٹی صورتحال اور دہشت گردی کے خلاف جاری اقدامات سے متعلق نیوز کانفرنس کرتے ہوئے ڈی جی آئی ایس پی آر لیفٹیننٹ جنرل احمد شریف نے بتایا کہ رواں سال ملک بھر میں انٹیلی جنس کی بنیاد پر مجموعی طور پر 40 ہزار 348 آپریشن کیے گئے۔ رواں سال اب تک دہشت گردی کے 3 ہزار 145 واقعات پیش آئے، جبکہ سیکیورٹی فورسز کی کارروائیوں میں 2 ہزار 84 دہشت گرد ہلاک کیے گئے۔ ان کے مطابق یومیہ اوسطاً 10 دہشت گرد مارے گئے اور روزانہ اوسطاً 194 انٹیلی جنس بیسڈ آپریشنز کیے گئے۔ دہشت گردی کے واقعات میں مجموعی طور پر 819 افراد شہید ہوئے، جن میں 303 فوجی جوان، 194 قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کے اہلکار اور 322 شہری شامل ہیں۔ سال 2026 کے دوران اب تک 28 بم دھماکوں کے واقعات بھی رپورٹ ہوئے ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ 2023 میں پہلی بار شہداء کی تعداد دہشت گردوں کی ہلاکتوں سے زیادہ تھی، تاہم اس کے بعد سیکیورٹی فورسز نے اپنی کارروائیاں مزید مؤثر بنائیں اور دہشت گردوں کے خلاف آپریشنز میں نمایاں کامیابیاں حاصل کیں۔ لیفٹیننٹ جنرل احمد شریف نے واضح کیا کہ دہشت گردوں کے ساتھ کسی قسم کے مذاکرات کی کوئی گنجائش موجود نہیں۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ دہشت گردوں کو ریاستِ پاکستان کے سامنے ہتھیار ڈالنا ہوں گے اور قانون کے مطابق جوابدہ ہونا ہوگا۔ سیکیورٹی فورسز دہشت گردی کے مکمل خاتمے تک اپنی کارروائیاں جاری رکھیں گی اور ملک کے امن و استحکام کے لیے ہر ممکن اقدامات کیے جائیں گے۔
