Raja Khalid meets his martial arts teacher in Canada after being inducted into America’s Hall of Fame…. By;ASGHAR ALI MUBARAK…………….After receiving the awarad of honor ” Hall of Fame America”, Shihan Raja Khalid Janjua met his martial arts teacherKancho Henry Oh, Chairman NAKO North American Kyokushin Organization in Canada, in which Kancho Henry Oh, Chairman NAKO North American Kyokushin Organization congratulated Raja Khalid on his historic achievement and expressed his best wishes through a video message. The entire Canadian martial arts family congratulates him on his induction into America’s Hall of Fame.Raja Khalid’s teacher also received this honor in 1980.Kancho Henri-Oh is the founder of the independent NAKO organization. He holds an 8th-degree black belt and has practiced Kyokushin for over five decades. He studied and trained under the most prominent of original Kyokushin instructors, including Masutatsu Oyama, the legendary source of Kyokushin Karate, making Henri-Oh one of the few practitioners worldwide who can add this to his resume. Dispelling the myth of the under-educated athlete, Henri-Oh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with a minor in Math & Physics and a Master’s Degree in Administration and Supervision. He completed his Ph.D. studies in the Department of Bilingual Education, but his research was related to Socio-Anthropology. He has several manuscript publications to his credit.Kancho Henri-Oh holds numerous victories and championships in the competitive arena. In 1979 and 1983, he fought in the World Full Contact Kyokushin Karate Championships in Tokyo, Japan. Mas. Oyama officially certified Kancho Henri-Oh as Branch Chief representative to the United States for the International Kyokushin Organization reporting directly to Mas. Oyama.
He originated the Ultime Test Championship, the world re-known bare knuckle full-contact tournament used as a measure for other karate competitions. In 1995, he was elected and appointed Chairman of the North American Kyokushin Organization (NAKO). Since 2019, he serves as Senior Advisor to the organization. He has trained thousands of students and promoted hundreds of black belts.Shihan Raja Khalid Janjua became the first Pakistani to be inducted into US Martial Arts Hall of Fame”. Raja Khalid is also the first Pakistani Kyokushin Karate Master to receive a 6-Dawn World Action Black Belt from Japan and a place in the Martial Arts Hall of Fame. Raja Khalid, a 6-don black belt inducted into the US Martial Arts Hall of Fame, said that he earned this honor with the prayers of his parents, the nation and his hard work. Raja Khalid Mehmood said that joining the USA Hall of Fame is a matter of honor for the entire country and I dedicate this achievement to the people affected by the floods. Along with this honor, I have also got the fruits of my dedication and hard work. Raja Khalid 6th Dawn World Suction Black Belt said that there is no shortage of talent in Pakistan.
