Pakistani teenager Daniyal Ur Rehman wins Azadi Cup National Tenpin Bowling Champion ship 2018 U-12 Title

A Pakistani teenager Daniyal Ur Rehman wins Azadi Cup National Tenpin Bowling Champion ship 2018 U-12 Title played at Leisure City Bowling Club under the supervision of Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation in collaboration with Bin Alam City. The young Champion Daniyal is the son of international Pakistan player and three-time National Bowling champion Iajz-Ur-Rehman.Earler the Jashan Azadi Cup Tenpin Bowling Champion ship 2018 started with opening ceremony held at Leisure City Bowling Club alongwith beautiful musical show and mega fashion show attended by top male and female models of federal capital were the top attraction of the ceremony in front of the pack-to-capacity arena. Besides others dignities, MNA Junaid Akbar, MPA Shakeel, Air Marshal Ikram Butt, Javeed Bangesh, Chairman Pukhtun Action Committee, Ali Khan MPA, Raja Yawar, Nazim Alam Chairman Bin Alam City and Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation secretary Ijaz-Ur-Rehman also attended the opening ceremony. The Independence Day celebration ‘’ Azadi Cup Tenpin Bowling Champion ship 2018’’ begins with U-12 category event with over 50 kids participating in the first round. They were reduced to 16 in the next round. It was a very close encounter between brothers Abdul Rafay Saqib and Abdul Wasay Saqib while they were closely followed by Ahmed and Ali but Daniyal was runaway leader. He never looked back and kept his nearest opponent at a quite distance. Daniyal, being coached and brought up by his father Ijaz, showed that he was closely following his father’s footsteps and very soon will earn his own name in this sport on international level. The Under 12 champion Daniyal got top position with the score of a whopping 299 pins in two games while the contest for second and third place went right down to the wire between Rafay and Wasay. At one stage, they were level after the completion of the first round. But Rafay changed gears and kept day-light between him and Wasay and grabbed the second slot with the total of 207 pins while Wasay had to settle for third place with the 181 pins. The main round of women singles, professionals and doubles will start late Saturday night. While talking to media National Bowling champion Iajz-Ur-Rehman hoped that with such activities the youth would be again attracted to promote tenpin bowling in the country. He said the aim of hosting Azadi cup was to celebrate the Independence Day in befitting manner by providing a platform to new bowlers. He informed that this year Pakistan will participate in three international championships including World Bowling Tour, Thailand, and World Men’s Championship in Hong Kong, China and Qubica AMF in Las Vegas, USA.Mr. Ijaz Ur Rehman is from Batkhela Malakand agency and playing ten-pin bowling. The National champion of ten-pin bowling Pakistan and secretary-general of t Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation introduced Pakistan Bowling in the world and record with record participation. He also conducted numerous coaching and training sessions to contribute towards the improvement of National players.The mission of Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation is endeavoring to promote Bowling Sport in the country by holding tournaments at various cities of Pakistan and exposure of team at International event will be beneficial and attractive for all sports lovers of this game. The particular sports and event will have lasting impact to create healthy community. By promoting such sports with same spirit and pace will help in sustaining the image of Sports as “Icon of Pakistan”.
