یہ بات انہوں نے گزشتہ روز وزارتِ خارجہ میں امریکی کانگریس کے وفد (CODEL) اور 33 رکنی اعلیٰ سطحی امریکی کاروباری وفد کے اعزاز میں منعقدہ ایک خصوصی انٹرایکٹو سیشن سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہی۔ امریکی کانگریس کے وفد میں امریکی ایوانِ نمائندگان کے اراکین رائن زنکے (Rep. Ryan Zinke) اور مائیکل بومگارٹنر (Rep. Michael Baumgartner) شامل تھے، جبکہ پاکستان میں متعین امریکی ناظم الامور نیٹلی بیکر (Natalie Baker) اور معروف کارپوریٹ رہنماؤں نے بھی تقریب میں شرکت کی۔

پاک-امریکہ تعلقات میں مثبت پیش رفت

وزارتِ خارجہ کے ترجمان کے دفتر سے جاری کردہ تفصیلات کے مطابق، نائب وزیرِ اعظم اسحاق ڈار نے امریکی وفد کا خیرمقدم کرتے ہوئے وزیرِ اعظم محمد شہباز شریف اور صدر ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ کی قیادت میں پاک-امریکہ تعلقات میں جاری مثبت رفتار اور گرمجوشی کو سراہا۔ انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ پاکستان مسلسل پارلیمانی روابط، وسیع اقتصادی تعاون اور عوامی سطح پر مضبوط رشتوں (People-to-People ties) کے ذریعے دونوں ممالک کے مابین دوطرفہ تعلقات کو مزید پائیدار بنانے کے لیے مکمل پرعزم ہے۔

سرمایہ کاری اور تعاون کے وسیع مواقع

سینیٹر اسحاق ڈار نے اپنے خطاب میں دونوں ممالک کے مابین تجارت، سرمایہ کاری اور اختراع (Innovation) کو بڑھانے کے لیے موجود وسیع امکانات پر روشنی ڈالی۔ انہوں نے مشترکہ مفادات کے درج ذیل اہم شعبوں میں تعاون کو فروغ دینے کی ضرورت پر زور دیا:

  • ٹیکنالوجی اور انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی (IT)
  • توانائی (Energy) اور ماحول دوست منصوبے
  • جدید زراعت (Agriculture) اور لائیو اسٹاک
  • مینوفیکچرنگ اور صنعتی پیداوار
  • مائنز اور منرلز (معدنیات) کا شعبہ

اقتصادی اصلاحات اور حکومتی سہولیات کا یقین

امریکی تاجروں اور کارپوریٹ رہنماؤں کو پاکستان میں سرمایہ کاری کی دعوت دیتے ہوئے نائب وزیرِ اعظم نے یقین دلایا کہ حکومتِ پاکستان بیرونی سرمایہ کاری کو ہر ممکن تحفظ اور سہولیات فراہم کر رہی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ حکومت ملک میں طویل المدتی اقتصادی اصلاحات کے ایجنڈے کو تیزی سے آگے بڑھا رہی ہے تاکہ ایک ایسا سازگار ماحول پیدا کیا جا سکے جو دونوں ممالک کے لیے مشترکہ معاشی ترقی اور خوشحالی کا باعث بنے۔ انہوں نے واضح کیا کہ پاکستان اب ایسی طویل المدتی کاروباری شراکت داریوں کا خواہاں ہے جو باہمی اعتماد اور مشترکہ فائدے پر مبنی ہوں۔

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Tuesday reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening ties with the United States, inviting American enterprises to invest in the country’s key growth sectors.

He made these remarks while addressing an interactive session at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a visiting U.S. Congressional Delegation (CODEL) and a 33-member U.S. Business Delegation. The congressional delegation comprised House of Representatives members Ryan Zinke and Michael Baumgartner, alongside the U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker and prominent corporate leaders.

Positive Momentum in Pak-U.S. Ties

Welcoming the high-level delegation, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the positive momentum in Pakistan-U.S. relations under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Donald Trump. He emphasized that sustained parliamentary engagement, expanded economic cooperation, and stronger people-to-people ties remain essential pillars for building a long-term, mutually beneficial bilateral partnership.

Vast Potential for Strategic Investment

Senator Ishaq Dar underscored the immense potential for enhancing trade, investment, and innovation between the two countries. He specifically identified several lucrative sectors for closer collaboration:
