HAHT (Haji Abdul hakeem Trust Regd) is playing vital role for the promotion of quality education and providing education scholarships for the students of earthquake affected remote and area in KPK.HAHT (Haji Abdul hakeem Trust Regd) is a non political, non sectarian, charitable, welfare organization, established in 1985 with the sole purpose of affording uplift to the deprived segment of the people living in far flung areas of Tehsil Balakot, Distt Mansehra KPK (Pakistan) with particular focus on village Bhangian, situated in South East of Balakot, with heights varying from 4500 feet to 10000 feet above sea level. The emphasis of the Trust was on uplift of education and providing of health facilities to the common people of the area.This was stated by the Dr, Anwar Naseem (Patron) Haji Abdul Hakeem Trust (R) , Lt.Col (R) Muhammad Younis Awan (Executive director) Haji Abdul Hakeem Trust (Regd) Dr.Abdul Qayyum Awan (Chairman) Haji Abdul Hakeem Trust during the scholarship distribution function at lawyers club Rawalpindi.Further they stated that the trust, right from its inception, embarked on the programmed:, providing financial assistance to deserving students who cannot afford to continue their higher studies because of lack of funds, establishing libraries and book-banks for poor students, especially in the earthquake affected area, helping those who have completed their education in getting suitable jobs,providing basic health facilities and establishing hospitals and dispensaries for the needy and the poor, rehabilitating quake victims by providing them financial and medical assistance, establishing educational institutions in the quake hit areas to provide quality education to the local population they added .They said that our new challenges after 2005 earthquake are
the catastrophe caused by 2005 earthquake posed new challenges to the entire national infrastructure and the resources seemed to fall much short of the yawning requirement, but the whole nation rose to the occasion. The trust also geared up its efforts and under-took some unprecedented tasks of relief and rehabilitation despite its very meager resources. Dr, Anwar Naseem (Patron) Haji Abdul Hakeem Trust (R) said that after the 2005 earthquake, due to lack of resources it was decided to focus one of the worst hit areas “BHANGIAN” a far flung area of Tehsil Balakot, Distt Mansehra NWFP (Pakistan) situated in South East of Balakot, with heights varying from 4500 feet to 10000 feet above sea level. The emphasis of the Trust was on the uplift of education and providing of health facilities to the common peopleof the area. Dr. Anwar Naseem (Ph.D, Sitara-e-imtiaz & pride of performance) patron Haji Abdul Hakeem Trust (R) during speech at scholarship distribution function of HAHT at lawyers club Rawalpindi said that Haji Abdul Hakeem Trust is a social & welfare organization working in the field of HEALTH + EDUCATION since 2005 in earthquake affected area Balakot and its suburb with 24/7 facility of MBBS doctor in free clinic and with stipends for poor students. Dr.Abdul Qayyum Awan (Chairman) Haji Abdul Hakeem Trust at this occion informed the participants that during the HAHT Ramzan package 2014 distribution completed and ration was handed over to the needy families of village bhangian (balakot). HAHT team under the supervision of executive director, came back complete the task of distribution of ration to around 90 needy families of remote village of tehsil balakot. Dr.Abdul Qayyum Awan (Chairman) Haji Abdul Hakeem Trust said Alhamdulillah ! May Allah accept our sadqat and all our prayers.
