ISLAMABAD: The talented golfer of the women’s amateur golf world, Miss Abiha Hanif Syed, recently excelled in the Women’s Asian Amateur Golf Championship 2024 Thailand.
Pakistan’s four-member women’s golf team represented Pakistan in the Women’s Asian Amateur Golf Championship organized by the Asia Pacific Golf Confederation (APGC) in Thailand. The Women’s Asian Amateur Golf Championship was held in Thailand from 30 January to 4 February 2024. In which the Pakistan Women’s Golf Team showcases its talent, the Women’s Asian Amateur Golf Championship is a major event in the golfing calendar, attracting top players from across the continent. Pakistan’s representation in this prestigious competition underlines the country’s commitment to promote and develop women’s golf. The team members included Miss Parka Ejaz, Miss Ramsha Ejaz, Miss Dania Syed and Miss Abiha Haneem Syed.
Her participation is an example of the growing potential of women’s golf in Pakistan and an inspiration to aspiring athletes. The Asia Pacific Golf Confederation (APGC) organized a spectacular event that provided a platform for golfers to showcase their skills and promote international friendship. In a message, the Pakistan Golf Federation thanked the Asia Pacific Golf Confederation for hosting this prestigious championship and providing a stage.
Pakistan Women’s Golf Team is aiming to win the Women’s Asian Amateur Championship. Although golfer Miss Abiha Haneem Syed missed out, Abiha showed admirable skill with two rounds, the best ever score by a Pakistani golfer in the history of the Women’s Amateur Championship.
Miss Abiha Hanif Syed scored 8 over par after two rounds. This outstanding performance is the best ever score by Pakistani golfers in the last three championships which highlights their outstanding performance at the international level.
Miss Abiha Hanif is currently ranked 2400th in the latest World Golf Ranking, beating players ranked 795th in the World Amateur Golf Ranking.
This success is a reflection of his dedication and commitment to the game.
It is significant that the Pakistan Golf Federation is committed to raising the standard of women’s golf in the country and represented Pakistan for the third time in a row at the World Golf Championship this year.
With the addition of the championship to the Pakistan Golf Federation calendar, the federation received four invitations, highlighting the growing recognition of Pakistani talent at the international level.
The successful golfer Miss Hamna Amjad has previously represented Pakistan nine times, the PGF selection committee decided to nominate two talented young golfers, including Miss Abiha Hanif Syed. These nominations are in accordance with the recommendations of the Asia Pacific Golf Confederation.
PGF has congratulated all the players who participated in the championship with the best spirit of sportsmanship and hopes that one day these talented golfers will bring the trophy to Pakistan.
Their dedication and passion for the game is admirable and the Pakistan Golf Federation believes in their potential as golfers to make Pakistan’s name shine on the world golfing stage.
In response to the challenges faced by golfers, the Pakistan Golf Federation is actively conducting coaching clinics to enhance the skills of golfers. Its aim is to ensure better performance in international championships and raise the overall standard of women’s golf in Pakistan.
The PGF is dedicated to promoting women’s golf in the country and Abiha Hanif Syed’s recent achievements are testament to the potential that exists in the next generation of Pakistani golfers.

ایشیا پیسیفک گالف کنفیڈریشن (APGC) کے زیر اہتمام ویمنز ایشین امیچور گالف چیمپئن شپ تھائی لینڈ میں پاکستان کی چار رکنی خواتین کی گالف ٹیم نے پاکستان کی نمائندگی کی۔ ویمنز ایشین امیچور گالف چیمپئن شپ 30 جنوری سے 4 فروری 2024 تک تھائی لینڈ میں ہوئی ۔ جس میں باصلاحیت گالفرز پر مشتمل پاکستان ویمنز گالف ٹیم نےاپنی صلاحیتوں کا مظاہرہ کیا ویمنز ایشین امیچور گالف چیمپئن شپ گولفنگ کیلنڈر کا ایک اہم ایونٹ ہے، جو پورے براعظم سے اعلیٰ کھلاڑیوں کو راغب کرتا ہے۔ اس باوقار مقابلے میں پاکستان کی نمائندگی خواتین کے گولف کو فروغ دینے اور ترقی دینے کے لیے ملک کے عزم کو واضح کرتی ہے۔ ٹیم کے ارکان میں مس پارکہ اعجاز، مس رمشا اعجاز، مس دانیہ سید اور مس ابیہا حنیم سید شامل تھیں،
ان کی شرکت پاکستان میں خواتین کے گالف کی بڑھتی ہوئی صلاحیت کی مثال اور خواہشمند ایتھلیٹس کے لیے ایک تحریک ہے۔ ایشیا پیسیفک گالف کنفیڈریشن (APGC) نے ایک شاندار ایونٹ کا انعقاد کیا جس میں گالفرز کو اپنی صلاحیتوں کا مظاہرہ کرنے اور بین الاقوامی دوستی کو فروغ دینے کے لیے ایک پلیٹ فارم فراہم کیا گیا۔ ایک پیغام میں پاکستان گالف فیڈریشن اس باوقار چیمپئن شپ کی میزبانی کرنے اور ایک اسٹیج فراہم کرنے پر ایشیا پیسیفک گالف کنفیڈریشن کا شکریہ ادا کیا ہے۔
پاکستان ویمنز گالف ٹیم کا مقصد ویمن ایشین امیچور چیمپئن شپ میں اعزاز حاصل کرنا ہے۔ اگرچہ گالفر مس ابیہا حنیم سید کامیابی سے محروم رہیں، ابیہا نے دو راؤنڈز کے ساتھ قابل تعریف مہارت کا مظاہرہ کیا، خواتین کی امیچور چیمپئن شپ کی تاریخ میں پاکستان کے گالفرز کا اب تک کا بہترین سکور ہے۔
مس ابیہا حنیف سید نے دو راؤنڈز کے بعد 8 اوور برابر سکور کیا۔ یہ شاندار کارکردگی گزشتہ تین چیمپئن شپ میں پاکستانی گالفرز کا اب تک کا بہترین اسکور ہے جو بین الاقوامی سطح پر ان کی شاندار کارکردگی کو نمایاں کرتا ہے۔
مس ابیہا حنیف اس وقت تازہ ترین ورلڈ گالف رینکنگ میں 2400 ویں نمبر پر ہیں، انہوں نے ورلڈ ایمیچور گالف رینکنگ میں 795 ویں نمبر پر موجود کھلاڑیوں کو پیچھے چھوڑ دیا۔
یہ کامیابی ان کی کھیل سے لگن اور عزم کا مظہر ہے۔
یہ بات اہم ہے کہ پاکستان گالف فیڈریشن ملک میں خواتین کے گالف کا معیار بلند کرنے کے لیے پرعزم ہے اور اس سال عالمی گالف چیمپئن شپ میں مسلسل تیسری بار پاکستان کی نمائندگی کی۔
پاکستان گالف فیڈریشن کیلنڈر میں چیمپئن شپ کے اضافے کے ساتھ، فیڈریشن کو چار دعوت نامے موصول ہوئے، جو بین الاقوامی سطح پر پاکستانی ٹیلنٹ کی بڑھتی ہوئی پہچان کو اجاگر کرتے ہیں۔
اس سے قبل کامیاب گالفر مس حمنہ امجد نو مرتبہ پاکستان کی نمائندگی کر چکی ہیں، پی جی ایف کی سلیکشن کمیٹی نے دو باصلاحیت نوجوان گالفرز کو نامزد کرنے کی حکمت عملی طے کی، جن میں مس ابیہا حنیف سید بھی شامل ہیں۔ یہ نامزدگیاں ایشیا پیسفک گالف کنفیڈریشن کی سفارشات کے مطابق ہیں۔
پی جی ایف نے کھیلوں کے بہترین جذبے کے ساتھ چیمپئن شپ میں حصہ لینے والے تمام کھلاڑیوں کو مبارکباد دی ہے اور امید ظاہر کی ہے کہ ایک دن یہ باصلاحیت گالفرز ٹرافی پاکستان لائیں گے۔
کھیل کے لیے ان کی لگن اور جذبہ قابل تعریف ہے اور پاکستان گالف فیڈریشن گالفرز کے طور پر ان کی صلاحیت پر یقین رکھتا ہے کہ وہ عالمی گولفنگ اسٹیج پر پاکستان کا نام روشن کریںگے
گولفرز کو درپیش چیلنجوں کے جواب میں، پاکستان گالف فیڈریشن گالفرز کی مہارتوں کو بڑھانے کے لیے فعال طور پر کوچنگ کلینک چلا رہا ہے۔ اس کا مقصد بین الاقوامی چیمپئن شپ میں بہتر کارکردگی کو یقینی بنانا اور پاکستان میں خواتین کے گولف کے مجموعی معیار کو بلند کرنا ہے۔
