Chairman Prime Minister Youth Program Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan held an important meeting with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in which a detailed review of the measures related to the promotion of technical education, skills and hospitality sector in Pakistan was taken. The high-level meeting discussed in detail various measures to increase international employment opportunities for Pakistani youth and prepare them according to the changing requirements of the global market, while important issues related to the establishment of “Country of Destination Centres” to provide better access to employment opportunities to the youth at the global level were also considered. A strategy was formulated to provide basic language training, cultural awareness, work environment and other necessary professional training to the youth aspiring to work abroad according to the needs and employment requirements of the respective countries through these specific centers. The meeting specifically emphasized that the youth aspiring to work abroad should be made aware of the language, culture, work environment and basic requirements of the respective country before departure. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif strictly directed the concerned authorities to equip the youth with modern technical and professional skills according to the changing requirements of the global market. The meeting reaffirmed the commitment to make training opportunities for youth in the fields of skills, technical education and hospitality more effective so that, as part of the government’s primary objective, Pakistani youth can access maximum employment opportunities at the international level by providing world-class education, skills and training.
Linking the revival of sports to Pakistan’s overall national and diplomatic victories, the Chairman PM Youth Program said that no power in the world can stop Pakistan’s progress. A comprehensive talent hunt program is going to be launched in Pakistan on the basis of merit and transparency, where the culture of recommendation will be completely eliminated and only talent will be brought forward. At the end of this talent hunt, the government of Pakistan will organize a magnificent Pakistan Hockey League. The International Hockey Federation will be the official partner of the academy and the government for the draft of players in this league, through which renowned international players from around the world will come to Pakistani soil and play matches. Regarding the historical background of September, he paid tribute to Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir and his team, who achieved great successes against terrorism through ‘Banyan Al-Marsoos’ and the fight for truth.
