British Pakistani boxer Amir Khan ready to fight against Indian boxer in Saudi Arabia on July 12th 2019

The legendary British Pakistani boxer Amir Khan to fight against Indian boxer Neeraj Goyat in Saudi Arabia on July 12th 2019.British Pakistani boxer Amir Khan has claimed that Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has assured him that he will be attending his fight against Indian boxer Neeraj Goyat on July 12.The boxer while talking to media stated that he will aim to beat the Indian World Boxing Council Asian champion in Jeddah – looked on by Pakistani prime minister.Amir Khan, whose last lost last fight to welterweight star Terence Crawford at Madison Square Garden, the PM Imran Khan’s office has confirmed participation in the match. The boxer agreed that he will be under pressure to beat the Indian national as any upset could spell doom for his career.When asked about recent reports that he has not spoken to his parents in more than six months, Amir Khan said that he was speaking to his family and brushed aside reports of differences with his father as well as the old management team. Amir Khan said that he has to change his management team for his own professional reasons. “I needed to change the team for my own sake. There is nothing else. I have done it for myself, for Amir Khan.”The legendary boxer said: “In view of the on-going hostilities between India and Pakistan and especially what’s going on at the border, it will be interesting. Of course, there is lots of pressure. We are professional sportsmen and it’s nice that India and Pakistan should fight in the fields of cricket, boxing and other sports. Pakistan and India will be trying to beat each other in sports and more of that needs to happen.”Amir Khan said it will be the first time a British Pakistani will fight an Indian boxer, which eventually will bring the two nations together. Amir Khan said Goyat was a phenomenon in his home country and over a billion people will be supporting him.
Mean while the Indian boxer Neeraj Goyat told media that he’s excited to take on Amir Khan. He desired that Indian Prime Minister Narendra should also come to Saudi Arabia to watch his bout against Amir Khan. “It will be India fighting Pakistan but in a healthy way. I come from a very humble background but the love of boxing has taken me to places. I used to clean shoes for $2 a pair. This fight in Saudi Arabia but I would like our future fights to be in India and Pakistan.”
Amir Khan’s father has said it on record that Khan has not spoken to his parents in many months and blamed his son’s wife Faryal Makhdoom and her month for being behind the differences.
The fight has been officially endorsed by the Saudi General Sports Authority to fit into the country’s Vision 2030 Strategy, which was launched in April 2016 to bring about modernization.More over according to a Super Boxing League promoter Bill Dosanjh on other day stated that global boxing superstar Amir Khan will take on Indian pro-boxer Neeraj Goyat in what promises to be one of the most anticipated bouts in recent history. The battle will be held Saudi Arabia on July 12 with a championship title on line. Khan, a two-time World Champion and Olympic silver medalist at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece will take on the Indian pro at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah Saudi Arabia – nicknamed the ‘The Shining Jewel’ in a fight that promises to deliver the thrill and excitement that comes with the presence of the British pro in the ring. “It will be the first time a British Pakistani will fight an Indian boxer, which eventually will bring the two nations together. Both fighters just want to get in there and get the fight on, for me Neeraj is a fighter,” said Khan. In a stunning 38-fight professional career, Amir Khan has faced some of the very finest boxers and pound-for-pound best of his generation, including Marcos Maidana, Zab Judah, Danny Garcia, Saul Alvarez and in his last fight Terence Crawford. Khan’s rival, Goyat defeated Mexico’s Carlos Lopez Marmolejo via unanimous decision in a contest at the Danforth Music Hall earlier in April in Toronto. Goyat, who is the WBC Asia welterweight title-holder, has a record of 11 wins including two knockouts, three losses and two draws till date. “This opportunity is as big as it gets for me. Everything that I have achieved till date wouldn’t matter when I enter the ring on July 12 taking on a seasoned, established superstar in Amir Khan. I will be carrying the hopes of 1.2 billion on my shoulders who will expect me to bring the title by causing an upset,” admitted Neeraj Goyat. The Haryana-lad left behind a highly successful amateur career to pursue his dream of becoming a professional boxer and show the world that India can be a new super-power in world boxing. He has fought in numerous countries, including China, Thailand, South Korea, Mexico and Canada and currently holds the WBC Asian crown. “Eventually, sports like boxing have generated fascination. For a country like India, I believe it is one of the biggest fights as it is the battle of two nations for the sake of building peace. The fight is an important event taking place during Saudi Arabia seasons that will run from June 8th to July 18th 2019.The compete name of legendary British Pakistani boxer is Amir Iqbal Khan born on 8th December 1986.He is a British professional boxer. He is a former unified light-welterweight world champion, having held the WBA (later Super) title from 2009 to 2012, and the IBF title in 2011. At regional level, he held the Commonwealth lightweight title from 2007 to 2008. He also held the WBC Silver welterweight title from 2014 to 2016, and once challenged for a middleweight world title in 2016. As an amateur, Khan won a silver medal in the lightweight division at the 2004 Olympics, becoming at the age of 17, Britain’s youngest boxing Olympic medalist. He is also one of the youngest ever British professional world champions, winning the WBA title at the age of 22. In 2007, he was named ESPN prospect of the year. Outside of boxing, he is a philanthropist with his own charity organization, Amir Khan Foundation. He is also a promoter and sponsor, the owner of Khan Promotions and Pakistan’s Amir Khan Academy, and a co-owner of India’s Super Fight League (MMA) and Super Boxing League. As a celebrity, he has also participated in several game shows.
