ISLAMABAD; The Azadi Spacial Train is a symbol of national unity depicts the past, present and future and struggles for a developing country. The Azadi Spacial Train is decorated, prepared by the staff of carriage factory Islamabad under supervision of its Managing Director Pakistan Railways Carriage Factory Islamabad most talented officer Muhammad Yusuf for 70th Independence Day celebration 14th August 2017. The Azadi Spacial Train encapsulates the traditional folk culture and important events which have transpired. The train is a visual representation of the China-Pak Economic Corridor, Operation Khyber-4 ,Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad (Urdu: آپریشن رد الفساد ) and Operation Zarb-e-Azb, violence in Indian-occupied Kashmir, and a glimpse into the history of Pakistan Railways. The Azadi Train is a customized commemorative train prepared through the joint efforts of Pakistan Railways, Ministry of Information Broadcasting and National Heritage and Inter Services Public Relations. On 14th August 1947 Pakistan came into the world and Become Islamic Country. The Azadi Spacial Train will starts its 15 days journey on 12th August 2017 from Margalla Station Islamabad. Azadi Spacial Train is a symbol of national unity which depicts the past, present and future of the country.The Azadi Spacial Train would inform the new generation especially students about the achievements and struggles made by Pakistani leaders during the movement of Pakistan .The Azadi Spacial Train’s gallery of historic pictures to educate the new generation how to the Muslims of the sub-continent struggled under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for achieving Pakistan.The Azadi Spacial Train consists of coaches representing the culture and traditions of all four provinces of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir and is scheduled to cover some 4,000 kilometers .The Azadi Spacial Train also depict the country’s fight against terrorism and extremism to eliminate this scrounges from the society.The Azadi Spacial Train started its country-wide journey from Margalla Station Islamabad along with floats depicting different aspects of Pakistan’s culture which will highlight sacrifices of heroes of the independence movement. Azadi Spacial Train journey will culminate at great founder of Pakistan’s city Karachi Cantt Station on 25 August 2017.The Azadi Special Train will leave Margalla Station at 12:30 pm from Islamabad and will reach Peshawar Cantt at 4:30 pm. On August 13 Azadi Spacial Train will leave Peshawar Cantt at 10:30 am from Rawalpindi and will be welcomed there at 7:15 PM.The Azadi Spacial Train will leave Rawalpindi Railway Station on August 15 at 9:15 in the morning and will come to Lahore at 10:00 in the night time.The Azadi Spacial Train will stopover in Lahore for two days and will leave for Multan on August 17.The Special Azadi Train will arrive at Multan at 11:30 PM and on August 18 it will leave Multan at 9 am for Khanpur and will reach there at 7:19 in twilight. After a night stay the train will proceed from Khanpur at 8:30 am and will arrive at Sukkur at 8 pm. On 20 August will depart Sukkur at 9:30 in the morning and will arrive at Sibbi at 8 in the evening.For residing there for a day will advance from Sibbi on August 21 at 7 in themorning and will arrive at Quetta at 5 in the evening.On August 23 Special Azadi Train will depart Quetta at 7 in the morning and will arrive at Sukkur at 7:30 in the evening.For staying there for a day will depart Sukkur on August 24 at 8 in the morning and will arrive at Nawab Shah at 7 in the evening and through the same route will reach Tando Adam Hyderabad. It will stay at Hyderabad for one night and via Kotri will lastly depart for Karachi Cantt. On August 25 this journey will end at Karachi Cantt at 6 pm.
On the special direction of Qauid PML’N and former prime minisiter Mian Nawaz Sherif the Railways Misiter Kahwaja Saad Rafique ,Secretary Ministry of Railways Parveen Agha already visited Carriage Factory Islamabad (CFI) in order to check the making of Azadi Train.Secretary Ministry of Railways Parveen Agha appreciated the efforts of Muhammad Yusuf, Managing Director Carriage Factory Islamabad and his team.Secretary Ministry of Railways Parveen Agha and Mr. Aftab Akbar, Secretary Railway Board also appreciated the efforts of Mr. Abdul Malik, Divisional Superintendent Abdul Rawalpindi ,Dy.CME Asad Farooq Chishti ,Works Manager Abdul Rehman Abroo and D.S.Lahore Division for the expedition of Azadi Train.Secretary Ministry of Railways Parveen Agha and Mr. Aftab Akbar, Secretary Railway Board also visited Margalla Station to check the final arrangements made for inauguration of Azadi Spacial Train .
