علامہ اقبال اوپن یونیورسٹی راولپنڈی ریجن میں ملی نغموں کے مقابلے کا انعقاد……………..
راولپنڈی: 20 اگست (رپورٹ: اصغر علی مبارک) علامہ اقبال اوپن یونیورسٹی کے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ناصر محمود نے علامہ اقبال اوپن یونیورسٹی کی گولڈن جوبلی تقریبات کو منانے کے لیے سال 2023 میں گانوں کے مقابلے کی تقریبات منعقد کرنے کی ہدایت کی ہے۔ اس سلسلے میں راولپنڈی ریجن کے زیراہتمام سرسید سائنس کالج راولپنڈی میں طلبہ و طالبات کے درمیان قومی ملی نغمے کا مقابلہ ہوا جس میں 50 طلبہ و طالبات نے حصہ لیا۔
حاجرہ بتول نے ‘ہم زندہ قوم ہیں’ گا کر پہلی پوزیشن حاصل کی جبکہ فائزہ علی نے دوسری اور ردا عارف نے تیسری پوزیشن حاصل کی۔ قومی نغمات کے مقابلے کے ججز پروفیسر محمد عارف، پروفیسر محمد بشیر ملک اور پروفیسر باقر وسیم تھے۔ تقریب کی صدارت ایڈیشنل ڈائریکٹر ریجنل سروسزسفیراللہ ،ڈائریکٹر سٹوڈنٹ افئیرز، سید غلام کاظم علی اور ریجنل ڈائریکٹر راولپنڈی، نسرین اختر مرزا اور اسٹنٹ ریجنل ڈائریکٹر، مہر النساء نے کی۔ پوزیشنز حاصل کرنے والے طلباء کو مبارکباد دیتے ہوئے ایڈیشنل ڈائریکٹر ریجنل سروسز سفیر اللہ نے کہا کہ یونیورسٹی کے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ناصر محمود طلباء کو ہم نصابی سرگرمیوں کے مواقع فراہم کرنے کے خواہاں ہیں، میں اس میں حصہ لینے والے تمام طلباء کو مبارکباد پیش کرتا ہوں۔ مقابلہ کریں اور یقین دلائیں کہ یونیورسٹی آپ کو بار بار ایسے مواقع فراہم کرے گی۔
ڈائریکٹر سٹوڈنٹس افیئرز سید غلام کاظم علی نے بھی بچوں کو حصہ لینے اور پوزیشنیں حاصل کرنے پر مبارکباد دی۔
انہوں نے اپنے خطاب میں کہا کہ یونیورسٹی نے اپنے تمام علاقائی دفاتر میں اس نوعیت کی تقریب منعقد کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔
سید کاظم علی نے کہا کہ طلباء کے گیت سن کر یہ یقین پختہ ہوا ہے کہ آج کے نوجوان ملک کی مٹی سے بے حد محبت کرتے ہیں۔
اس موقع پر راولپنڈی ریجن کی ڈائریکٹر نسرین اختر مرزا نے کہا کہ ہم وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ناصر محمود اور ڈائریکٹر جنرل ریجنل سروسز ڈاکٹر ملک توقیر احمد خان کے مشکور ہیں جن کے تعاون اور قیادت میں ہم نے اس طرح کے پروگرام کا انعقاد کیا۔ ریجنل ڈائریکٹر راولپنڈی، نسرین اختر مرزا نے انعام جیتنے والے طلباء اور ان کے والدین کو مبارکباد دی۔ انہوں نے ایونٹ کو کامیاب بنانے پر اپنی ٹیم کی کاوشوں کو سراہا۔
AIOU Rawalpindi Region Organized National Songs Competition
Rawalpindi: August 20 (Report: Asghar Ali Mubarak) Vice Chancellor of Allama Iqbal Open University, Professor Dr. Nasir Mehmood has directed to organize Songs Competition events throughout the year 2023 to celebrate the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Allama Iqbal Open University. In this regard at Sir Syed Science College Rawalpindi under the auspices of the Rawalpindi Region, a national song competition was held between male and female students in which 50 male and female students participated.
Hajira Batool won the first position by singing ‘Hum Zinda Qoum Hain’, while Faiza Ali won the second position and Rida Arif won the third position. The judges of the competition were Professor Muhammad Arif, Professor Muhammad Bashir Malik and Professor Baqir Wasim. The ceremony was presided over by Additional Director Regional Services, Safirullah, Director Student Affairs, Syed Ghulam Kazim Ali ,Regional Director Rawalpindi, Nasreen Akhtar Mirza . Congratulating the students who got the positions, Additional Director Regional Services, Safirullah said that the University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood is keen to provide opportunities for co-curricular activities to the students, I congratulate all the students who participated in this competition and assure that the university will provide you such opportunities again and again.
Director students Affairs, Syed Ghulam Kazim Ali also congratulated the children for participating and securing positions.
He said in his address that the university has decided to organize this type of event in all its regional offices.
Syed Kazim Ali said that after listening to the songs of students, the belief has been strengthened that the youth of today love the soil of the country very much.
Speaking on the occasion, Director of Rawalpindi Region, Nasreen Akhtar Mirza said that we are grateful to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Nasir Mehmood and Director General Regional Services, Dr. Malik Touqeer Ahmad Khan, under whose support and leadership we organized such concerts.
Nasreen Mirza congratulated the prize-winning students and their parents. He lauded the efforts of his team for making the event a success.
