……… (Asghar Ali Mubarak)……………..The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has confirmed that people holding all types of visas in Saudi Arabia are now eligible to perform Umrah. According to the Saudi Press Agency, a statement issued by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said that people coming on ‘personal and family visit visas, electronic tourist visas, transit visas, work visas and other types of visas’ will be able to perform Umrah during their stay in the kingdom. The ministry said that this move is part of efforts to make facilities for Umrah pilgrims more effective and provide wider access to services in the Hajj and Umrah system, which supports the achievement of the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which includes providing every possible facility to pilgrims.
The statement said, “This step reflects the kingdom’s ongoing commitment to facilitating the arrival of Muslims from around the world and allowing them to perform their religious duties with comfort and convenience.” The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah further said that these facilities reflect the desire of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince to provide a safe and spiritual environment for Muslims around the world. It should be noted that Hajj is one of the fundamental pillars of Islam, for which Muslims from all over the world arrive in Saudi Arabia every year, while Pakistan receives one of the largest Hajj quotas from Saudi Arabia. In July, the federal cabinet formally approved the Hajj Policy 2026, which outlined important administrative, financial and logistical measures for the Hajj season..سعودی وزارتِ حج و عمرہ نے تصدیق کی ہے کہ اب سعودی عرب میں موجود تمام اقسام کے ویزا رکھنے والے افراد عمرہ ادا کرنے کے اہل ہیں۔سعودی پریس ایجنسی کے مطابق وزارت حج وعمرہ کی جانب سے جاری بیان میں کہا گیا ’ذاتی وخاندانی وزٹ ویزا ، الیکٹرانک سیاحتی ویزا ، ٹرانزٹ ویزا ، ورک ویزا اور دیگر اقسام کے ویزوں‘ پر آنے والے افراد مملکت میں اپنے قیام کے دوران عمرہ ادا کر سکیں گے۔وزارت نے کہا کہ یہ اقدام عمرہ زائرین کے لیے سہولیات کو مزید مؤثر بنانے اور حج و عمرہ کے نظام میں خدمات تک وسیع تر رسائی فراہم کرنے کی کوششوں کا حصہ ہے، جو سعودی وژن 2030 کے اہداف کی تکمیل کی حمایت کرتا ہے جس میں زائرین کو ہرممکن سہولت دینا سرفہرست ہے۔
بیان میں کہا گیا ’یہ قدم دنیا بھر کے مسلمانوں کی آمد کو آسان بنانے اور انہیں سکون و سہولت کے ساتھ اپنے مذہبی فرائض ادا کرنے کے لیے مملکت کے جاری عزم کی عکاسی کرتا ہے‘۔سعودی وزارت حج وعمرہ کی جانب سے مزید کہا گیا کہ یہ سہولیات خادمِ حرمین شریفین اور ولی عہد کی اس خواہش کی عکاسی کرتی ہیں کہ دنیا بھر کے مسلمانوں کو ایک محفوظ اور روحانی ماحول فراہم کیا جائے۔خیال رہے کہ حج اسلام کے بنیادی ارکان میں سے ایک ہے جس کے ادائیگی کے لیے ہر سال دنیا بھر کے مسلمان سعودی عرب پہنچتے ہیں جب کہ پاکستان کو سعودی عرب کی جانب سے حج کے سب سے بڑے کوٹے میں سے ایک حاصل ہوتا ہے۔جولائی میں وفاقی کابینہ نے باضابطہ طور پر حج پالیسی 2026 کی منظوری دی تھی، جس میں حج کے سیزن کے لیے اہم انتظامی، مالی اور لاجسٹک اقدامات کا خاکہ پیش کیا گیا
