The World Sports Journalism Day was observed in twin city Rawalpindi / Islamabad with great enthusiasm and in this connection a special meeting was held under the chairman Shakeel Awan for a healthy environment and good working relationship between sports journalists of Rawalpindi and Islamabad,The Chairman RISJA stated that without ” favor or fear we will cover sports events” for the promotion of sports the sports journalist are playing a vital t role.He hoped that sports journalists will remain united ,he also appreciated the role of RISJA president Mr. Mohsin Ali , Abdul Mohi Shah,,Faheem Anwar khan Nasir Abbas Naqvi,Nasir Aslam Raja,Naseeb Elahi,and others.At this occasion Nasir Aslam Raja said we will unit for the journalist cause. Chairman RISJA Shakeel Awan stated that Rawalpindi/Islamabad Sports Journalists Association RISJA is an active affiliated unit of Pakistan Sports Writers Federation (PSWF) and International Press Sports Association (AIPS) has been observing the day each year .On the occasion other senior sports journalists also shared their views and experiences emphasizing the need to strengthen their relations for the promotion of sports and improvement of sports reporting.
