Rescue 1122 officials’ remains alert on Chehlum Imam Hussain A.S

Rawalpindi-The central procession of the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) culminated peacefully under tight security here on other day .Rescue 1122 officials’ remains alert on Chehlum Imam Hussain A.S .Ambulances, fire vehicles, rescue and recovery vehicles, specialized fire trucks and mobile rescue posts remain with the Chehlum processions in Rawalpindi. The mobile rescue post provides immediate medical treatment / assistance to the mourners. Rescue 1122 posts were established at Chityan Hatyan, Committee Chowk, Fatimia Imambargah at Hathi Chowk in Saddar, Qasr-e-Abu Talib in Tench Bata, Qasr-e-Shabbir in Dhoke Syedan, Imambargah Qasr-e-Sajjad in Mughalabad, Saaien Sadiq Muslim Town in Sadiqabad, Imambargah Qasr-e-Abbas on Tulsa Road near Tahli Mohri, Qasr-e-Abu Talib in Mughalabad, Imambargah Colonel Maqbool in Raja Bazaar and Imambargah Qasr-e-Hussain in Satellite Town.Emergency officers including trained doctors supervised rescue arrangements on Chehlum Imam Hussain A.S. The emergency service also worked with hospitals and police officials. Mean while the traders, leaders of political and religious party thanked the Rescue 1122 Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer for extra ordinary arrangements for providing emergency medical cover to the processions during on Chehlum Imam Hussain A.S. Chairman al-qaim tanzeem Syed Saeed Rizivi, MWM Rawalpindi secretary Allama Kazmi Akbar Hussain Kazmi ,Allama Izhar Bokhari chairman Peace committee  and others stated that said such arrangements were essential for mass gatherings. More over various political parties and religious organisations, including ISO, Jafaria Alliance, MWM and PPP, had also set up camps and sabeels to facilitate the mourners. Besides 1122, personnel of law-enforcement agencies, more than 1,000 volunteers from various organisations also performed security duties. Earlier, the personnel of law-enforcement agencies, after combing the area, blocked all the passages around the route by placing containers and sealing shops, while CCTV cameras were also installed for keeping an eye on suspicious activities.
