First time the PCB Media accreditation issued after the dully verified by different security agency. This practice was adopted only for strict security measurement for upcoming national and international matches. PCB media team and Rawalpindi administration ensured that only genuine sports journalists must be given the path to media box. PCB issued media accreditation cards to only to that sports journalists those were cleared by special branch and security agencies. Due to strict security arrangements players fells a tension free environment through the events. It made quite possible for the genuine journalists to perform their professional duties in sporting endowments to cover the event. The PCB staff Syed Nazir Ahmed, Media Analyst, Zeeshan Bhatti, Media Coordinator, Imran Khan, PCB -Web and Shawaiz Akram, PCB, IT Assistant found regular and punctual during the entire event with smiley faces to facilitate and helped the sports journalists. Thanked to DCO Rawalpindi and other security agencies and sponsors, who were on board with the PCB for this event and hoped to remain with the PCB for a longer period of time. The players, media men and cricket lovers stated that “We are grateful to DCO Rawalpindi and Punjab CM for providing special security for the event. Tickets were available on booths in very cheap price tickets of Rs 100 and Rs 200; this was quite affordable at the gates of the stadium. The main road leading to stadium remain closed due to security purposes, while only VVIPs and VIP movement were allowed passage to main entrance of Pindi Stadium. PCB media team provides VIP car parking stickers to all media card holders to park their vehicles at the designated places. The spectators first time face no inconvenience that has valid match tickets. The twin cities crowd proved them the best in the country in the entire event. It is mentioned here that the T20 successful event was the success full event for last one decade. The ground staff looks alerts special covers were provided for the pitches and made it sure that the event would be held according to plan. Eelier the media praised the efforts of the ongoing National T20 Cup 2016. PCB organization Committee headed by the Mr. Shakeel Ahmed Shaikh the Chairman PCB Domestic Affairs Committee, Major (R) Naeem Gillani and other seven members. Mr. Shakeel Ahmed Shaikh the Chairman PCB Domestic Affairs Committee said that the local administration is providing foolproof security. He said that this is for the first time that such a great tournament is being held in two different cities and the board deserves appreciation for that.It is mentioned here that the Pakistan cricket board is trying to bring back international cricket in Pakistan.
