Pakistan Squads Announced for T20 and ODI Tri-Series…
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the national squads for the three-match T20 series against Sri Lanka and the ODI tri-series involving Pakistan, England, and Sri Lanka.
According to the PCB, opening batter Sahibzada Farhan—who recently led Pakistan at the Asian Games—will captain the national team for the three-match T20 series against Sri Lanka, while fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi will continue to lead the Pakistan team in the ODI tri-series against England and Sri Lanka.

All three T20 matches between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium; the first match is scheduled for October 9, the second for October 11, and the third and final T20 for October 13.
Sahibzada Farhan will lead the 15-member national squad for the T20 series against Sri Lanka. The squad also includes Abdul Samad, Abrar Ahmed, Arafat Minhas, Fakhar Zaman, Hassan Nawaz, Mohammad Imran Randhawa, Khawaja Nafay (wicketkeeper), Maaz Sadaqat, Naseem Shah, Razaullah, Saim Ayub, Mohammad Salman Mirza, Shadab Khan, and Sufiyan Muqeem.
Following the T20 series, a seven-match ODI tri-series will be played between Pakistan, England, and Sri Lanka, with the first three matches taking place in Rawalpindi. The ODI tri-series will kick off on October 18 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium with a match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, while Pakistan and England will face off at the same venue on October 20. A match between Sri Lanka and England will also be played in Rawalpindi on October 22.
Subsequently, the remaining matches and the final of the series will be held at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore; Pakistan will play England on October 25 and Sri Lanka on October 27, while Sri Lanka will face England on October 29. The tri-series final is scheduled for October 31 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
ODI Squad
Shaheen Shah Afridi will lead Pakistan’s 16-member ODI squad for the tri-series against England and Sri Lanka. The squad includes Abrar Ahmed, Salman Ali Agha, Arafat Minhas, Babar Azam, Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Muhammad Ghazi Ghori (wicketkeeper), Haris Rauf, Hassan Nawaz, Naseem Shah, Razaullah, Saad Baig (wicketkeeper), Saim Ayub, Shadab Khan, and Sufiyan Muqeem.
Pakistan’s team management will comprise Mike Hesson (Head Coach), Shaun Tait (Bowling Coach), Michael Smith (Batting Coach), and Mansoor Amjad (Fielding Coach), with Naveed Akram Cheema serving as the team manager.
Additionally, the support staff includes Muhammad Tahir (Physiotherapist) and Grant Luden (Strength and Conditioning Coach), while Nabeel Eager (Pace Bowling Analyst) and Usman Hashmi (Team Analyst) will serve during the T20 series against Sri Lanka and the tri-series, respectively. Shafqat Shabbir will serve as the Media Manager for the Rawalpindi leg, while Syed Nazir Ahmed will handle the role for the Lahore leg; Colonel Usman Anwari will be the Security Manager, Dr. Wajid Ali Rifaie the Team Doctor, and Muhammad Ehsan the Masseur. Sahibzada Farhan will captain the team for the three T20 matches against Sri Lanka, whereas Shaheen Shah Afridi will lead the side in the ODI tri-series.
