ISLAMABAD: The federal capital witnessed a historic milestone in combat sports as the grand international boxing mega-event, “Azadi Fight Night,” officially kicked off today. The spectacular opening ceremony brought together undefeated world-class fighters and legendary sports icons in a single frame.

To mark the grand commencement of this mega-event, the Founder President of the South Asian Sports Journalists Association (SASJA), Asghar Ali Mubarak, welcomed the international champions to Pakistan and lauded their participation.

  • Britain’s Undefeated Osman Aslam: The reigning powerhouse of the British professional boxing circuit, Usman Aslam—who holds a flawless 15-0 undefeated professional record with 7 clinical knockouts—expressed immense enthusiasm as he stepped into the capital’s ring to defend his pristine streak.
  • Denmark’s Knockout Specialist Haris Aftab Khan: Danish boxing champion Haris Aftab Khan, widely celebrated for securing all three of his initial professional victories via consecutive, devastating knockouts, showcased immense physical readiness at the opening ceremony, aiming to continue his explosive streak in front of Pakistani fans.
