ڈائریکٹر جنرل ریجنل سروسز علامہ اقبال اوپن یونیورسٹی ڈاکٹر ملک توقیر احمد خان نے طلبہ کے لیے نئی تعلیمی پالیسی کے تحت لازمی ہدایات جاری کر دی ہیں۔علامہ اقبال اوپن یونیورسٹی (AIOU) نے ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن (HEC) کی ہدایات کے مطابق تعلیمی دستاویزات کی تصدیق اور جمع کروانے کے طریقہ کار کو مزید آسان اور خودکار بنانے کے لیے ایک جامع اعلامیہ جاری کیا ہے، نئی پالیسی 2024ء سے ایسے تمام طلبہ جنہوں نے سمسٹر خزاں 2024ء یا اس کے بعد علامہ اقبال اوپن یونیورسٹی میں داخلہ لیا ہے، ان کے لیے اپنی آخری تعلیمی سند یا ڈگری کی تصدیق شدہ کاپی جمع کروانا لازمی قرار دے دیا گیا ہے۔ٹرمینل ڈگری سے مراد وہ آخری سرٹیفکیٹ یا ڈگری ہے جس کی بنیاد پر طالب علم کو یونیورسٹی کے موجودہ پروگرام میں داخلہ ملا ہے۔ اگر کسی طالب علم نے بی اے، بی ایس سی یا ایسوسی ایٹ ڈگری پروگرام میں داخلہ لیا ہے، تو اس کے لیے انٹرمیڈیٹ کی تصدیق شدہ سند اپ لوڈ کرنا ضروری ہے۔ متعلقہ اداروں سے تصدیق کا طریقہ کارطلبہ کو ہدایت کی گئی ہے کہ وہ اپنی تعلیمی دستاویزات کی تصدیق درج ذیل مجاز اداروں سے کروائیں:میٹرک، انٹرمیڈیٹ (FA/FSc یا مساوی), انٹر بورڈز کوآرڈینیشن کمیشن سے تصدیق شدہ ہونا ضروری ہے۔بیچلر، ماسٹر ڈگری یا اس سے اوپر, ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن (HEC) سے تصدیق شدہ ہونا لازمی ہے۔ قانون کے مطابق ریکارڈ کی درستگی اور تصدیق کے لیے تمام طلبہ اپنے CMS پورٹل پر لاگ ان کریں۔پورٹل میں موجود سروس ریکوئسٹ میں جائیں اور وہاں ٹی ڈی اے (TDA) کے آپشن والے ٹیب میں اپنی تصدیق شدہ ڈگری/سرٹیفکیٹ کی اسکین کاپی اپ لوڈ کریں۔طلبہ کو تاکید کی گئی ہے کہ وہ یہ عمل جلد از جلد مکمل کریں تاکہ موجودہ تعلیمی پروگرام مکمل ہونے پر انہیں خودکار طریقے سے ڈگری یا سرٹیفکیٹ جاری کیا جا سکے۔ جو طلبہ اپنی تصدیق شدہ ٹرمینل ڈگری بروقت اپ لوڈ کر دیں گے، انہیں یونیورسٹی سے موجودہ پروگرام مکمل کرنے کے بعد ڈگری کے اجراء کے لیے علیحدہ سے کوئی درخواست جمع کروانے کی ضرورت نہیں ہوگی، بلکہ سسٹم خود بخود ان کی ڈگری جاری کر دے گا سمسٹر خزاں 2024ء اور اس کے بعد داخلہ لینے والے طلبہ سے سرٹیفکیٹ یا ڈگری کی فیس ان کی سمسٹر فیس کے ساتھ ہی وصول کی جا چکی ہے، اس لیے طلبہ کو اب ڈگری یا سرٹیفکیٹ کے لیے علیحدہ سے کوئی فیس جمع نہیں کروانا ہوگی ڈاکٹر ملک توقیر احمد خان علامہ اقبال اوپن یونیورسٹی (AIOU) میں بطور ڈائریکٹر جنرل (DG) ریجنل سروسز خدمات سرانجام دے رہے ہیں۔ ان کا بنیادی کام ملک بھر میں پھیلے ہوئے اوپن یونیورسٹی کے علاقائی کیمپسز اور تعلیمی نیٹ ورک کو چلانا اور ان کی نگرانی کرنا ہے۔

Director General, Regional Services, Allama Iqbal Open University, Dr. Malik Tauqir Ahmed Khan, has issued mandatory instructions for students under the new education policy. Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has issued a comprehensive notification to simplify and automate the process for the verification and submission of educational documents, in accordance with the instructions of the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Under the new 2024 policy, it is mandatory for all students admitted to Allama Iqbal Open University for the Autumn 2024 semester or later to submit a certified copy of their most recent educational certificate or degree. Terminal degree refers to the last certificate or degree on the basis of which the student has been admitted to the current program of the university. If a student has taken admission to a BA, BSc, or Associate Degree program, he/she is required to upload an attested Intermediate certificate. Procedure for Attestation from the concerned institutions: Students are advised to get their educational documents attested from the following authorized institutions: Matriculation and Intermediate (FA/FSc or equivalent) must be attested by the Inter Boards Coordination Commission. Bachelor’s, Master’s degree or above must be attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). As per the law, all students should log in to their CMS portal to ensure the accuracy and verification of their records. Go to Service Request in the portal and upload a scanned copy of their attested degree/certificate in the TDA option tab. Students are advised to complete this process as soon as possible so they can be automatically issued their degree or certificate upon completion of their current academic program. Students who upload their verified terminal degrees on time will not need to submit a separate application to the university for degree issuance after completing the current program; instead, the system will automatically issue their degrees. The certificate or degree fee has been collected from the students admitted in the fall semester 2024 and thereafter along with their semester fees, so students will no longer have to submit any separate fee for the degree or certificate. Dr. Malik Tauqeer Ahmed Khan is serving as the Director General (DG) of Regional Services at Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU). His main job is to run and supervise the Open University’s regional campuses and educational network across the country.
