Chinese- media delegation of China’s Yunan Daily Press led by Mr. Wang Xufei, called on Director General Radio Pakistan, Syed Muhammad Imran Gardezi

The Director General Radio Pakistan, Syed Muhammad Imran Gardezi has called for enhanced interaction between the Pakistani and Chinese media to strengthen people to people relations.
He was talking to five-member Chinese- media delegation of China’s high profile Yunan Daily Press Group Kunming,Yunnan Province China led by Mr. Wang Xufei, Director of Comments/editorial section ,Mr.Zhang Tong, Deputy Director of Photography Department, Mr. Yang Zhihui, Reporter, Mr. Zu Hongbing, Reporter and Ms.Lian Huiling Reporter of The Spring City Evening of China’s Yunan Daily Press Group Kunming, Yunnan Province China called on him at National Broadcasting House here on Thursday.
He said China Radio International and Radio Pakistan are already collaborating in field of broadcasting and FM-98 Dousti<friend ship> Channel is airing Chinese programmes from Islamabad and Karachi and will be launched in Lahore as well. He said we also intend to launch programmes of Radio Pakistan from Radio China to strengthen ties of friendship between the two people.
He said Pakistani media is highlighting the significance of one belt one road project and entire nation is unanimous on this project. He said two national broadcasters have crucial role to play in materialization of the project that will bring socio, cultural, and economic revolution.
Syed Imran Gardezi informed the Chinese media team that Radio Pakistan is covering 98 percent of population.
Director News and Current Affairs, Mushtaq Ahmed Kaifi and Head News and Current Affairs Channel, Javaid Khan Jadoon apprised the delegation about importance Radio Pakistan is giving to projection of Pakistan-China collaboration in various fields, especially the corridor project.
President Pak-China Media Friendship Forum, Editor-in-chief The Daily Mail Islamabad Makhdoom Babar told the guests that Radio Pakistan is mother of electronic in country and its incumbent director general has introduced new changes to make it dynamic.
Head of Chinese delegation Mr. Wang Xuefei, who is head Yunnan Daily of China, said objective of their visit is to enhance interaction with their Pakistani counterparts. Besides, it will provide them an opportunity to assess the opinion of Pakistani media about Pakistan-China relations.
