Mr. Claudio Lins while talking to’’ The Daily Mail Islamabad’ Brazilian Ambassador said that Rio de Janeiro Brazil is ready to host Olympic Games and all arrangement is completed, “As we enter the final countdown until the opening of the Olympic Games Rio 2016, and we are confident to deliver successful Olympic Games with an outstanding legacy.Brazilian Ambassador of Brazil to Pakistan H.E. Mr. Claudio Lins thanked the solidarity and support from the IOC, International Federations, and National Olympic Committees for Brazil. The Brazilian Ambassador of Brazil to Pakistan H.E. Mr. Claudio Lins said that traditional sports capoeira’s future in Pakistan is very bright. Capoeira ABADA game was primarily developed by Grupo Senzala in Rio de Janeiro during the 1960s. This style heavily influenced capoeira regional, and most of the groups called “regional” today are actually much closer to contemporaneous than to Mestre Bimba’s original capoeira regional (which used a very particular and specific teaching method). Generally faster-paced games played farther apart, of short duration, on average one minute. Buying the game is common practice. Some contemporânea groups try to merge elements of Angola and regional into a single style; others practice each one separately depending on what rhythm the bateria is playing. Speaking at the “Meet the Press” held at National Press Club, he said there are vast opportunities of trade, cultural exchange and mutual cooperation among both the countries.Brazil-Pakistan Business Council was established to enhance the trade volume between the two countries, he added.Pakistan is an important country geographically and has a strong position among international world. Pakistan Gwadar Port and China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) are unique projects in terms of social, economic and cultural cooperation. These would benefit the countries of this region as well as others. These projects would bring the countries closer culturally and economically, the ambassador said.Claudio Raja Gabaglia Lins said Brazil believes in peace and international cooperation and it would explore more ways of possible cooperation with Pakistan in diversified fields.Regarding situation in Afghanistan, he said reconciliation to maintain peace in Afghanistan is important for economic prosperity in the region.Brazil is playing an important role in the world politics which would bring both the countries closer to each other, he added.About the Kashmir issue, he said it must be resolved with mutual consensus of Pakistan and India.President NPC, Shakeel Anjum, Secretary NPC, Imran Yaqoob, Finance Secretary, Ishaque Chaudhry and other members attended the event.The Brazilian Ambassador to Pakistan Claudio Raja Gabaglia also awarded NPC Islamabad honorary member ship on his extraordinary efforts for the peace and friend ship among two nations.
