15TH NATIONAL NETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2016 STARTED, SINDH BEAT WAPDA BY 24-16 GOALS IN OPENING MATCH By.Asghar Ali Mubarak Islamabad: 15th National Men & Women Netball Championship started here at Hamidi Hall, PSB Sports Complex, Islamabad, Pakistan Netball Federation in collaboration with Pakistan Sports Board organized Championship. The Federal Special Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Govt. of Pakistan Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui was the chief guest at the opening ceremony .He declared the championship open in very colorful atmosphere. Dr. Akhtar Nawaz Ganjera, Director General, Pakistan sports Board, Mudassar Arain, President, Pakistan netball Federation, Malik Sameen Khan VP, PNF, Uzma Umer VP, PNF, Muhammad Riaz Secretary, PNF, Azam Dar, Director (NF) Pakistan Sports Board and other dignities were also present on this occasion. The Opening match was played between Sindh and Wapda women netball team. Sindh won the match by 24-16 goals. Ms. Quratul Ain and Anum Salam from sindh performed outstanding. The other women matches details are as under: (WOMEN): Sindh beat KPK by 45-0 goals Wapda beat LUMS by 1-0 goals Army beat Fata by 32-0 goals Punjab beat Islamabad by 29-1 goals KPK beat LUMS by 1-0 goals Islamabad beat Fata by 13-4 goals(MEN MATCHES) Army beat KPK by 42-7 goals Sindh beat Police by 27-24 goals Wapda beat Fata by 46-7 goals Air force beat Punjab by 31-14 goals ,The technical officials namely Maqbool Ahmed, Muhammad Anwar, Khalid Parvez, Khalid Nawaz, Shazia Yousaf , Shahid Amin, Uzma Waqar, Yasir, Adnan Ghouri and Shpoaib Ahmed were supervised the matches.
