Pakistan Football Federation PFF imposed a life ban on 20  members for making a Parallel body Islamabad; By Asghar Ali Mubarak The Pakistan Football Federation PFF disciplinary committee imposed a life ban on 20 Ex Punjab Football Congress members for making a Parallel body of Punjab Football Association on other day says a press release  issued by Manager Club Development & Media Shahid  Khokhar .The PFF disciplinary committee during its meeting held on 24th May 2015 has imposed life ban on the following Ex Punjab Football Congress members after having them found guilty of violation of Article 70 of PFF statutes by making a Parallel Body of Punjab Football Association on 17th April, 2015;the 20 Ex Punjab Football  Congress members are1-    M. Ashraf Khan 2-    Nadeem Ahmed 3-    Haji Mian Muhammad Ashraf  4-    Chaudhry Azhar Ahmed 5-    Javaid Ghani 6-    Irfan Maqsood Malik  7-    Anees Ahmed Khan Lodhi 8-    Malik Tariq Rasheed9-    Muhammad Shafiq Ahmed Naveed 10-    Mehmood Mustafa 11-    Chaudhry Rasheed 12-    Rana Zia Ur Rehman 13-    Rana Akram Mubarik 14-    Muhammad Arshad Khan Lodhi15-    Mehmood Khalid Chaudhry 16-    Chaudhry Muhammad Ikhlaq 17-   Faqir Muhammad 18-    Muhammad Naeem19-    Safdar Shahzad 20-    Falak Sher Babar, Consequently, the PFF disciplinary committee has declared the above mentioned persons ‘Persona Non Grata’ and debarred them for life from taking part directly or indirectly, in any football related activity ofPakistan Football Federation or its affiliated units.

Islamabad—The FIFA Executive Committee met at FIFA Head Quarters, Zurich, Switzerland on 24th- 25thSeptember, 2015 and endorsed Faisal Saleh Hayat as President Pakistan Football Federation, President Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat would be given 2 years to revise the statutes and organize elections and Strongly rejected the appointment of PFF administrator. According to a press release issued by Shahid Khokhar Manager Media & Club Development Pakistan Football Federation/ PFF the acting Secretary General FIFA Markus Kattner informed Pakistan Football Federation General Secretary PFF Lt. Col. Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi through a letter disclosed the important decisions taken by the Executive Committee of FIFA has said that FIFA has endorsed Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat as the President Pakistan Football Federation, “the FIFA Executive Committee decided that the current PFF leadership- led by Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat would be given 2 years to revise the PFF statutes and organize elections accordingly” the letter says.At the same time it has rejected the appointment of an administrator to run the PFF affairs in very strong words “the appointment of an administrator for PFF by the High Court is contrary to Article 13.1 and 17 of FIFA Statutes that requests the Member Associations to manage their affairs independently and without influence from any third parties. The violations of such obligations might lead to sanctions including the suspension of PFF” Mr. Markus said in the letter. According to the detailed aforementioned letter, the process of revision of PFF Statutes and then organizing PFF elections accordingly, will be done by Faisal led PFF under the supervision of FIFA. President Pakistan Football Federation Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat proclaimed FIFA’s decision as the victory of truth and justice, “these are historic decisions made by the worthy members of FIFA Exco which depicts the strong concern of worlds supreme football body on the situation in Pakistan. These decisions have very clearly endorsed our constitutional stand and point of view. At the same time it has firmly and principally rejected any interference in the affairs of PFF by the 3rd party” Faisal said. “It will be a beginning of new era in football in Pakistan. We are keenly waiting to resume the football activities in the country which have suffered a lot due to this unconstitutional intervention” he added. He further said at this occasion that Pakistan has already been deprived of taking part in U-16 SAFF Championship and U-19 AFC Championship due to the lack of required funds as the PFF accounts are frozen. “The football family and lovers of the game in Pakistan will never forgive the elements caused this National loss” Faisal added. The Lt. Col. Retd. Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi, Genery PFF has also warmly welcomed the announcements by the FIFA EXCO “we are satisfied with the decisions as these have validated the constitutionally elected PFF body led by Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat. We will definitely comply with the requirements as asked by our parent body within the given time frame” Lodhi said. He also said that everyone should understand now that no one can topple the Pakistan Football Federation by using force and adopting illegal and unconstitutional means and modes. Meanwhile the football family of Pakistan have shown great happiness and expressed a sigh of relief over this latest development saying that FIFA has closed the dark chapter of Football in Pakistan by acknowledging Faisal Saleh Hayat as the constitutionally elected PFF President.
