سمبڑیال (پریس ریلیز):سمبڑیال کے گنجان آباد علاقے محلہ رسول پورہ بالمقابل گلی نمبر 4 نزد پرانی ڈسپنسری کے مکینوں نے گپکو (GEPCO) کی نااہلی، بجلی کی بدترین غیر اعلانیہ لوڈ شیڈنگ اور ٹرانسفارمرز کے مستقل تکنیکی فالٹ کے خلاف شدید احتجاج کیا ہے۔
معاملے کے مستقل حل کے لیے اہلیانِ علاقہ نے وزیرِ اعظم پاکستان سٹیزن پورٹل پر باقاعدہ آفیشل شکایت درج کروا دی ہے تاکہ اعلیٰ ترین سطح پر اس سنگین بحران کا نوٹس لیا جا سکے۔مظاہرین نے ہاتھوں میں پلے کارڈز اٹھا رکھے تھے جن پر واپڈا اور گپکو انتظامیہ کے خلاف نعرے درج تھے۔ اہل علاقہ کا کہنا ہے کہ جب سے مون سون کے موسم کا آغاز ہوا ہے، علاقے میں غیر اعلانیہ لوڈ شیڈنگ کا دورانیہ روزانہ 12 گھنٹے سے بھی تجاوز کر چکا ہے۔ معمولی سی بارش یا بادل آنے پر بھی گپکو حکام گھنٹوں کے لیے بجلی بند کر دیتے ہیں۔ مظاہرین نے میڈیا کو بتایا کہ اس بدترین صورتحال کی ایک بڑی وجہ علاقے میں نصب دو ٹرانسفارمرز کا ناکارہ تکنیکی نظام ہے۔ جب بھی واپڈا کا عملہ ایک ٹرانسفارمر کی عارضی مرمت کرتا ہے، تو لوڈ برداشت نہ کرنے کی وجہ سے دوسرا خراب ہو کر بلاسٹ ہو جاتا ہے، اور جب دوسرے کو ٹھیک کیا جاتا ہے تو پہلا دوبارہ جل جاتا ہے۔ بار بار کی عارضی مرمت اور پیچ ورک نے شہریوں کے لیے مستقل عذاب کی شکل اختیار کر لی ہے۔اس شدید گرمی اور حبس کے موسم میں 12، 12 گھنٹے بجلی غائب رہنے سے علاقے کے بزرگ، شدید بیمار مریض اور معصوم بچے انتہائی اذیت ناک صورتحال سے دوچار ہیں۔ کاروباری اور روزمرہ کے معمولاتِ زندگی بالکل مفلوج ہو کر رہ گئے ہیں اور راتوں کا سونا محال ہو چکا ہے۔ لوکل گپکو حکام کو بارہا تحریری شکایات دی گئیں لیکن تاحال کوئی مستقل حل نہیں نکالا گیا، جس کے بعد مجبوراً وزیرِ اعظم پورٹل کا دروازہ کھٹکھٹانا پڑا۔اہلیانِ رسول پورہ نے وزیرِ اعظم پاکستان سے اپیل کی ہے کہ پورٹل پر درج شکایت کا فوری نوٹس لے کر گپکو (GEPCO) حکام کو پابند کیا جائے کہ وہ اس طویل اور غیر قانونی لوڈ شیڈنگ کا فوری خاتمہ کریں اور بار بار جلنے والے ٹرانسفارمرز کو مستقل بنیادوں پر نئے اور ہائی کپیسٹی ٹرانسفارمرز سے تبدیل کریں تاکہ شہریوں کو اس ذہنی و جسمانی اذیت سے مستقل نجات مل سکے۔

Sambrial (Press Release): Residents of Mohalla Rasool Pura, opposite Gali No. 4 near the old dispensary in the densely populated area of Sambrial, have strongly protested against the incompetence of GEPCO, the worst unannounced load shedding of electricity, and constant technical faults of transformers.
For a permanent solution to the matter, the residents of the area have filed a formal official complaint on the Prime Minister Pakistan Citizen Portal so that notice of this serious crisis can be taken at the highest level. The protesters were holding placards in their hands on which slogans against WAPDA and GEPCO administration were written. The residents of the area say that since the monsoon season has started, the duration of unannounced load shedding in the area has exceeded 12 hours daily. Even with a slight rain or cloud cover, the GEPCO authorities turn off the power for hours. The protesters told the media that a major reason for this dire situation is the inefficient technical system of the two transformers installed in the area. Whenever the WAPDA staff makes temporary repairs to one transformer, the second one breaks down and explodes due to not being able to withstand the load, and when the second one is repaired, the first one burns again. Repeated temporary repairs and patchwork have become a constant torment for the citizens. Due to the absence of power for 12 hours in this intense heat and humidity season, the elderly, seriously ill patients, and innocent children of the area are facing a very painful situation. Business and daily routines have been completely paralyzed, and it has become impossible to sleep at night. Written complaints were made repeatedly to the local GEPCO authorities, but no permanent solution has been found yet; after which they were forced to knock on the door of the Prime Minister’s portal. The residents of Rasool Pura have appealed to the Prime Minister of Pakistan to take immediate notice of the complaint registered on the portal and compel the GEPCO authorities to immediately end this long and illegal load shedding and replace the frequently burning transformers with new and high-capacity transformers on a regular basis so that the citizens can get permanent relief from this mental and physical torture.
