گوجرانوالہ/رسول نگر ( پ ر) محرم الحرام کا چاند نظر آتے ہی ضلع گوجرانوالہ کے تاریخی قصبے رسول نگر میں نواسۂ رسول، سید الشہداء حضرت امام حسین علیہ السلام اور ان کے جانثار ساتھیوں کی عظیم قربانیوں کی یاد میں عزاداری کا باقاعدہ آغاز ہو گیا ہے۔
یکم محرم الحرام کے سلسلے میں شہر کا سب سے بڑا اور روایتی ماتمی جلوس ڈیرہ سائیں حیات، محلہ پٹھانوالہ سے برآمد ہوا، جس کی قیادت لائسنس دار بانی ڈاکٹر مبارک علی کے جانشین لائسنس دار ڈاکٹر محفوظ علی اور ڈاکٹر اظہر علی نے کی۔ یہ روایتی جلوس مقررہ راستوں پر گامزن رہا، جس کا احاطہ تقریباً پورے شہر پر مشتمل ہے۔جلوس کے دوران مسجد قاضیاں کے سامنے مجلسِ عزا کا انعقاد کیا گیا، جس میں علماء کرام اور ذاکرینِ عظام نے معرکۂ کربلا اور فلسفۂ شہادت پر تفصیلی روشنی ڈالی۔ مقررین کا کہنا تھا کہ “کربلا کا درس حق پر اڑے رہنا ہے؛ انسان کو چاہیے کہ وہ اپنی عملی زندگی میں حسینی کردار کو اپنائے، حق کی خاطر جئے اور حق کی خاطر مرنے کا حوصلہ پیدا کرے۔ جلوس اور مجلس میں معززینِ علاقہ، بشمول ا صدر انجمن جعفریہ رسول نگر سید ظفر عباس رضوی نے دیگر عزاداروں کے ہمراہ شرکت کی۔امن و امان کی صورتحال کو برقرار رکھنے کے لیے پولیس چوکی رسول نگر اور تھانہ علی پور چٹھہ کی جانب سے سیکیورٹی کے انتہائی سخت انتظامات کیے گئے تھے۔ جلوس کے راستوں پر پولیس اہلکار تعینات رہے، جبکہ عزاداروں اور ماتمی شرکاء کی سہولت کے لیے جگہ جگہ پانی اور شربت کی سبیلوں کا بھی خصوصی اہتمام کیا گیا تھا۔

Muharram begins in Rasool Nagar,
Gujranwala/Rasool Nagar (PR) As soon as the moon of Muharram was sighted, mourning has officially begun in the historical town of Rasool Nagar in Gujranwala district in memory of the great sacrifices of the grandson of the Prophet, Sayyid al-Shuhada Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his devoted companions.
The city’s largest and traditional mourning procession in connection with 1st Muharram began from Dera Sain Hayat, Mohalla Pathanwala, led by Licenseeholder/ Founder late Dr. Mubarak Ali’s successors, Licensee Dr. Mahfouz Ali and Dr. Azhar Ali. This traditional procession continued on the prescribed routes, covering almost the entire city. During the procession, a mourning gathering was held in front of the Qazian Mosque, in which scholars and great reciters shed detailed light on the Battle of Karbala and the philosophy of martyrdom. The speakers/zakerins said that “the lesson of Karbala is to remain steadfast in the truth; a person should adopt the character of Hussaini in his practical life, live for the truth and develop the courage to die for the truth.” The procession and the gathering were attended by dignitaries of the area, including the President of Anjuman Jafariya Rasool Nagar Syed Zafar Abbas Rizvi along with other mourners. Strict security arrangements were made by the Rasool Nagar police post and Alipur Chatha police station to maintain law and order. Police personnel were deployed on the procession routes, while water and syrup stalls were also specially arranged at various places for the convenience of the mourners and mourners.
